  I have been a long time client. I was very satisfied with their service until recently. In visiting the office on one occasion a couple of years ago to inquire about coverage under my home owner's policy for possible claim, the agent basically threatened that if I file a claim my rates would be increased and went about answering my question with a profound lack of interest or commitment to me as a client. More recently, I have had two occasions to call: In the first, I called to see whether my auto and home own insurance premiums could be lowered by switching companies. Low and behold, the agent did find a cheaper alternative for which i am grateful. However, the selling point for me in signing up with Susman was that they were pro-active in finding the lowest rates with good companies. It was not my job to make the inquiry. It should have been their on going responsibility to me as their customer. Today I called to inquire about coverage under my home policy. I asked to speak to an agent, The receptionist put me on hold, came back, and told me that I should speak directly to the insurance company. She then transferred the call to the insurance company. The staff now seem to be lazy, too disinterested in their work to serve clients, and certainly seem to take the path of least resistance. Which leads me to ask: Why do business with them? What are they doing for me?
